The Hans Foundation supports charitable and social development programmes by providing support to local non-governmental organisations. The interventions implemented by The Foundation range from grassroots level to national level programmes. THF’s charitable programmes are majorly implemented in the most rural and under-developed areas in the country.

The Foundation also runs its signature programs directly implemented such as Cochlear Implant and Little Hearts for helping children afflicted with these ailments giving them a new lease of life.
The Hans Foundation has funded over 250 Non-Governmental organizations in 29 states. Presently we are working with more than 150 organisations and have also partnered with several states Governments. Till date, the Foundation has supported projects worth over INR 10 billion through which we have reached more than four million underprivileged people in the country directly or indirectly.

THF has also been a key player in the statewide development in Uttarakhand state in last three years with interventions covering all sectors of development in convergence with Govt of Uttarakhand and other stakeholders. The Hans Foundation has made major forays into North Eastern regions of our country – Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, Mizoram Arunachal Pradesh, to reach out to the most neglected areas of these states. The Foundation has been working across the country in partnership with sharing a similar vision of creating an equitable society with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for all through empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India.
